For energy utilities and municipal utilities

More applications, same team.

At utilities, the workload grows faster than the team. We automate the routine work between your software: between ERP, archive, specialist software and inbox.

No system change. If there is no suitable interface, we look at other options together with your IT. It runs on your premises or in a data centre in Germany.

30 minutes, free of charge. Afterwards you have a first honest assessment.

applications for solar PV systems reached Netze BW, a German grid operator, in the first half of 2024. That is ten times as many as four years earlier. Wall boxes and heat pumps came on top.

Where things get stuck

Four processes we would start with. For the first two, we show what we have already built. For the others, we say honestly that this is the pattern, not the project.

  1. Purchase requisitions and approvals

The requisition as a form, approval through the chain of line managers, signed digitally and filed in the archive. Everyone can see where a request is.

  2. Data between billing, archive and specialist software

The industry ERP often has no suitable interface for what is needed. In the pilot, we connect it another way, so data no longer has to be copied by hand from one system to the next.

  3. Applications that arrive via portal, email and PDF

Grid connection, commissioning, feed-in customers: applications arrive in every form and have to be checked, completed and entered in the right system. Exactly the pattern we automated for enquiries at a trading company.

typical process, no project of our own at a utility yet

  4. Knowledge that retires

Many processes are known only to one person who has been there for years. Once documented and partly automated, the process keeps running after they leave.

From a project: a regional utility

Build the connections once, then one process after another.

Purchase requisitions went round on paper and by email, through several hands. Today the requisition goes digitally through the chain of line managers, is signed digitally and filed in the archive.

Behind it is a central platform with reusable connections to the archive, the signature and the login. We provide the connections, and the utility builds further processes on top of them itself. Next up is the ERP, which has no suitable interface.

Before

  1. Form
  2. print, sign
  3. chase up, scan
  4. Filing

Today

  1. Form
  2. Approval chain
  3. Managers approve
  4. Archive

What you can expect from us

Data stays where it belongs.

Hosted on your premises or in a data centre in Germany. AI runs where it suits the data, locally for sensitive data.

More about n8n

How we get started with you

  1. 1 / 4

    Initial call

    30 minutes, free of charge

You tell Matthias which process is costing you time right now. He listens, asks questions and tells you honestly whether we can help. No preparation needed, an example from your everyday work is enough.

    Result

An honest assessment of whether a next step is worth it.

  2. 2 / 4

    Workshop

    2 to 3 hours

We sit down with you and the colleagues who run the process every day. They show us how it really works, with all its exceptions. Then we work out together what the process costs today.

    Result

An order of priorities, a calculation and material you can put in front of management.

  3. 3 / 4

    First project

    one process with noticeable relief

We start with the process where the relief is felt fastest. Beforehand we agree how we will measure success. Your team tests with real cases and tells us what doesn't fit yet.

    Result

A process that runs in everyday work.

  4. 4 / 4

    Expansion and operation

    the way you want it

Once the first process runs, you decide how to continue. Further processes use the same connections and are added faster. We take care of operation, or we hand everything over to your IT with documentation.

    Result

A documented solution that does not depend on us.

Who on your side is involved

You

You bring the process and champion the project internally. From us you get an order of priorities, a calculation and material for management.

The people in the process

They know the exceptions and where things get stuck. That is why they are involved from the start, not only at roll-out.

Your IT

They work out with us access, where it runs and which connection to your software is possible and sensible.

Which process is piling up for you right now?

Tell us about it. In the initial call you get a first honest assessment of whether automation pays off for you.

30 minutes, free of charge, no preparation needed.
